The oxen and murals exhibited at Moo Moo PARK, Asia’s first drive-through exhibition at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, will “moo-ve” to Chinatown Point from 3 May to 30 June!
Visitors will be able to view the artworks in 3-dimensional format by activating Augmented Reality (AR) technology on their mobile phones, and immerse themselves within the picture. Inspired by the Year of the Ox and desire to save the planet, eight local artists have put their unique interpretations through their artworks for this exhibition. They include Almostasthma, André Wee, Antz, Danielle Tay, Howie Kim, Mithra, Puffingmuffin, and Toby Tan.
The project reflects Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre’s efforts to highlight how local artists combine cultural traditions and digital technology to address important issues of today.
Moo Moo PARK was developed by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and The MeshMinds Foundation, with support from the United Nations Environment Programme.
Take a selfie using Moo Moo PARK’s AR filters with your mom! The 3 most creative entries submitted to Chinatown Point’s Facebook contest will stand to win a Mother’s Day Gift set from When I Was Four plus NTUC vouchers worth a total of $100! Contest ends 30 June 2021. More details on Chinatown Point’s Facebook page!
