Zaobao Cultural & Creative Space (Nov 2018)

Nonya embroidery expert Heath Yeo will share the history of the Nonya emblems and showcase his embroidery works which Chinese elements are weaved into. Participants will be split into three groups where they will try out embroidering Singapore-flavoured symbols such as the Toa Payoh dragon-head playground, traditional coffee, pineapple tarts and goldfish. This is a good opportunity for embroidery to come into one’s daily life!

Registration is now closed as we have reached our full capacity for the event.
