Singapore is a food paradise. Here, you will find many iconic Chinese Singaporean dishes. You would have crossed paths with them at hawker centres, restaurants and maybe even tried your hands at making them. However, have you wondered how these dishes came to be?
The dishes in this exhibition are all hiding secret “ingredients”. Unlike food ingredients in a recipe, these are “cultural” ingredients. They have been around for as long as the Chinese have been in Singapore.
We can find traces of these secret ingredients in the stories of our iconic dishes. Begin your mission to uncover these secret ingredients at the Briefing Station.
Hurry, time is running out.
