Come join us as we celebrate Singapore’s 58th year of independence at the 17th National Day Sing-Along on Saturday, 5 August 2023, 7pm, at the Toa Payoh HDB Hub Mall Square.
Graced by Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law, the National Day Sing-Along is jointly organised by the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA) and Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) along with the involvement of Ocean Butterfly Music, who plays a significant role in fostering national pride through grooming local talents.
Back in its 17th edition, this year’s programme will be anchored by The A Cappella Society’s Children’s Pop Choir & Youth Voices, a choir consisting of children and youth with special needs from Extra·Ordinary People. These inspiring individuals will be delivering moving renditions of the National Day songs we all know and love.
On top of that, the event will be hosted by Mediacorp LOVE 972 DJ Chua Leelian and Mediacorp YES 933 DJ Zhong Kun Hua. Performances of crowd-favourite local tunes by homegrown music artists and SG:SW I Write My Song alumni Yokez 叶玉棂, Elton Lee, Morgan Law, and Yohannis Kasmani will also add to the celebratory atmosphere in the heartlands ahead of National Day.
Attendees are encouraged to put on their best red or white outfits or traditional ethnic wear as we celebrate the diverse yet united melting pot that is the Little Red Dot.
