Curated by SCO Principal Conductor Quek Ling Kiong, the Concert Season 24/25 opening concert “Seamless” promises a diverse lineup including grand orchestral works such as Impressions of Chinese Music: Daqu, Flowing Water, and Symphony of Sizhu. One of the highlights is The Sisters’ Islands infused with dance elements choreographed by 2023 Cultural Medallion recipient Osman bin Abdul Hamid, and the yangqin concerto Girl from Kroran, composed by renowned Taiwanese composer Chung Yiu-kwong, performed by SCO Yangqin Principal Qu Jianqing.
