War Stories: Echoes of Courage and Strength

Tang Renaissance proudly presents War Stories: Echoes of Courage and Strength, an immersive multi-disciplinary exhibition paying homage to our local war heroes. This exhibition aims to generate conversations and reflections on war and peace among the general public. The exhibition will also be accompanied by a short documentary featuring stories and accounts about WWII.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is a performance of an excerpt from the Yue Opera Martyr Lim Bo Seng during the opening ceremony. This performance depicts the touching farewell between Lim Bo Seng and his wife, Yan Zhuniang, before he left to join the army, showcasing the profound impact of war on families and individuals.

On the closing day of the exhibition, there will be a lecture by Associate Professor Wong Sin Kiong from the Chinese Department of the National University of Singapore, discussing the life and thoughts of WWII hero Lim Bo Seng. The seminar is conducted in Mandarin, and organised by Rain Studio. Interested parties, please pre-register with us.
