With the theme “Refresh, Renew, and Re-present”, the concert blended traditional Chinese music, wushu with Mandopop and electronic dance music (EDM). By blending tradition with modernity, the concert aims to inspire the younger generation while celebrating and preserving Singapore’s rich heritage in Chinese music and culture.

The stage this year featured a star-studded local line-up including popular local duo BY2, Feng Ze, DJ WUKONG, J.M3, Ben Hum, Zadon, Paige, Jordin and Gao Mei Gui. They were joined by well-known regional artiste Firdhaus and three-member group 3P.

SING浪 The SINGAPO人 Concert 2024 kicks off with an opening act performed by DJ WUKONG.

SCCC Chief Executive Officer Alvin Tan said, “We are heartened by the overwhelming public response to SING浪 which was sold-out for the first time, and we will continue to provide platforms throughout the year to support and showcase our homegrown Mandopop talents. Through concerts like SING浪, we hope to present our culture in a more appealing and accessible manner, and to showcase the vibrancy of Singapore Chinese culture.”
