Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre proudly presents The Last Dance – Extended Version (Cantonese) starring Dayo Wong. The film follows the trials and tribulations of a debt-ridden wedding planner as he journeys to become a successful funeral planner, and his relationship with his business partner, a traditional Taoist priest.
It also provides insights into “Breaking Hell’s Gate”, a traditional funeral ritual to free the souls of the dead so that they can be reincarnated, as well as other rituals, practices and beliefs in Hong Kong’s funeral industry.
The film will be screened in Cantonese with English and Chinese subtitles.
