Set sail on a multi-sensory, family-oriented arts experience that introduces toddlers and their parents to Chinese children’s songs and cultural imagery through sound, story, and mindful listening.
Anchored in the well-known children’s song Xiao Bai Chuan《小白船》, and other folk melodies, this workshop invites families on an imaginative journey that involves parent-child participation. The workshop is grounded in SonicPlay™, an evidence-based pedagogy developed by Dr. Natalie Alexandra Tse, which positions listening as the foundation of learning, and sound as a primary medium for connection, cultural awareness, and meaning-making.
This parent-child workshop is specially designed for toddlers aged 11 – 18 months old.
