“Ancient Moon, Present Light” is part of a new program by SCO and Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre held in celebration of key Chinese festivals. For the Mid-Autumn Festival, timeless classics Moonlit Night on a Spring River and Blossoms under the Full Moon will be presented in their original style, while other works such as Cantonese Medley, Qing Dynasty Bossa Nova: Colourful Clouds Chasing the Moon, and Moonlight in the City will be rearranged by talented young local composers Wang Chenwei, Sulwyn Lok, and Tan Kah Yong. Join us for an evening of riddles and music! This event is part of Mid-Autumn Family FUN, co-presented by Singapore Chinese Culture Centre and Singapore Chinese Orchestra.
