The school holidays are just around the corner and Olive’s school is gearing up for one last hoorah — an Afternoon Tea-Themed Costume Party. Every class in school will compete for the Best Dressed title to snag the ultimate prize.
Bubbling with excitement, Olive heads to school dressed as her favourite tea-time snack — an egg tart. But to her horror, her classmates are all dressed as egg tarts too! As other students walked past in their sleek British Tea Set and dazzling Cantonese Dim Sum costumes, Olive and her classmates began to feel very worried.
Join us at our upcoming storytelling workshop to find out if Olive and her classmates managed to use their creativity to turn their egg tart trouble into a sweet victory.
What else is happening at the workshop?
After the storytelling session, families are invited to roll up your sleeves and bake your very own egg tarts from scratch! Discover how this golden, buttery delight is made the traditional way — with your hands, heart, and a whole lot of fun.
Considering the complexity of the story and baking process, we recommend this workshop for children aged 4 – 10 years old with accompanying parent.
Each registration includes a FREE physical copy of BrookieKids’ exclusive bilingual book, “You’re an Egg Tart Too!” and a Becky Bunny Keychain by Families For Life!
