BeLONG’s joining your daily commute! 

Adapting from our Roof Garden installation BeLONG’s Art Playground, SCCC has collaborated with the Land Transport Authority to bring BeLONG to trains, buses and stations this CNY. 

BeLONG and his zodiac friends will share how we celebrate CNY the SINGAPO人 way. Watch out for the different CNY themes specially curated for each MRT line: 

• Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL): CNY snacks and their symbolisms and origins 
• Circle Line (CCL): Auspicious customs and rituals in celebration of CNY
• North-South and East-West Lines (NSEWL): Common practices of CNY
• Downtown Line (DTL): Activities of the 15 days of CNY, 
• North East Line (NEL): Cultural symbols of CNY and auspicious CNY greetings

Selected trains on all six rail lines and buses serving Services 51, 851, 106, 166 and 961 will be adorned with these festive decorations. These bus services ply areas such as Bugis, West Coast, Chinatown, Tiong Bahru, Clementi, Hougang, Woodlands, Bishan and Bras Basah. Ang Mo Kio MRT Station (North South Line), Boon Lay MRT Station (East West Line), Punggol MRT Station (North East Line), Tampines East MRT Station (Downtown Line), Maxwell MRT Station (Thomson-East Coast Line), and Shenton Way Station (Thomson-East Coast Line) will similarly be spruced up for CNY.
