Echoes of the Screen: Reimagined Drama Classics

Presented by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and produced by Ding Yi Music Company, Echoes of the Screen: Reimagined Drama Classics features theme songs from iconic Chinese television dramas as interpreted by Chinese chamber music and accompanied by nostalgic visuals.

The concert playlist will include evergreen classics from dramas such as The Awakening 《雾锁南洋》, The Coffee Shop 《咖啡乌》 and Good Morning, Sir! 《早安老师》as well as more recent hits such as the evocative Like A Swallow 《如燕》and Luo Hua Ru Yu 《落花如雨》 from The Little Nyonya Medley 《小娘惹组曲》, and Revision 《温习》 from My Star Bride 《过江新娘》.

Echoes of the Screen invites audiences to re-live their favourite TV hits from yesteryears together with guest vocalists Amsden and Soph T. 霏霏, saxophone soloist Michellina Chan, and a guest appearance by Chen Liping, best known for her role as the cheerful teacher in the 1989 classic Good Morning, Sir! 《早安老师》.
