Emergence 2024

“Emergence” serves as a stepping stone for aspiring dance choreographers who are looking for an avenue to gain exposure to and develop their choreography skills. With professional guidance from renowned figures in the industry, every participant will present a full-length work at a ticketed show at the end of the programme.

This year’s theme is “Return to the Origin”, emphasising on the importance of rediscovering and reconnecting with our cultural roots.

This year, we’re excited to welcome back choreographers Chloe Zhuo, Kate-lyn Tan, Sophie Xie, Wong Wen Ru, and Yeo Hana Ningtias Putri. We’re also thrilled to feature emerging choreographers Cheryn Lee, Liew Chen Kai, Pearl Lim and Sabril Amin.
