A heritage trail that follows the fortunes of Singapore’s “Wall Street” from the time when it was first named Raffles Way in the Central Business District (CBD), popularly known as Golden Shoe.
Behind today’s imposing glass structures are fascinating tales of the plans and the people who had contributed to the development of the area into one of the most important financial centres in the world.
Join us on this walking trail, which starts from Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, to check out the modern landscape of the CBD before walking down Shenton Way and Robinson Road. We will end at Lau Pa Sat, one of the Singapore’s oldest and popular food centres.
