In a world of rapid change, we are constantly bombarded by extreme and absolute opinions and beliefs, often complicating the search for personal identity. Invisible Habitudes, conceived by T.H.E Dance Company’s Founding Artistic Director Kuik Swee Boon, in collaboration with Taiwanese musician Wang Yu-jun, Singaporean lighting designer Adrian Tan, costume designer Loo An Ni, and six T.H.E dance artists, explores these issues through dance, merging solidity and fluidity in a dialogue between the body and its environment. After touring five European cities in 2019, the 2018 production returns to Singapore this November with a fresh infusion of energy—featuring new cast members who bring their unique voices to a narrative rich with memory, childhood, gender, culture, and ethnicity that seeks an inherent, fundamental sense of belonging. Don’t miss the chance to catch it in Singapore before it tours Taiwan and Malaysia—get your tickets now!
