[Latest update as of 16 Jan 2023: All red packets have been collected.]
In conjunction with Chinese New Year, Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and the artists of 兔gether — Fiona Koh and Warren Khong had created a uniquely red-and-gold packet featuring the loveable cast from the exhibition. The illustrations feature the various ways Chinese New Year is celebrated in Singapore, such as the tossing of yusheng, giving red packets, exchange of mandarin oranges, lion dance performances and reunion dinner.
The various red packets are emblazoned with auspicious Chinese sayings such as “wan shi ru yi” (万事如意), which means “Good luck in everything”, making it an excellent gift for a prosperous new year. Additionally, each set consists of 2 blank red packets along with two pieces of stickers to allow you to create your own personalised red packet!
SCCC visitors may redeem a set of these limited-edition red packets by heading down to the reception at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre Level 1 from 18 December 2022 till 5 February 2023 (the last day of Chinese New Year) while stocks last.
