“SEEK” SCULPTURE SOCIETY (SINGAPORE) Annual show

As artists, we aim to create artworks with a unique presence which express our individuality and connect with our viewers and generate empathy, stir up dialogue, induce reflections, and create new ideas.

In our artistic journey, one should continuously seek to transcend oneself: it’s a road of self-liberation, transcending self, reality, utilitarianism, rationality, and society. When one ventures out of his/her comfort zone, he/she will open new possibilities.

SSS encourage members to create an artwork using medium that are new/unfamiliar to them, evolve their current artistic styles, or explore different ways to present their artworks. To start to be aware of current limitations and attempt to overcome it: learning new skills, acquiring new tools, trying out new experiments.
