SG:SW 2024 ‘I Write The Songs‘ Live Showcase

The eighth edition of SG:SW ‘I Write The Songs’ is set to dazzle once again at Bugis+ with an exhilarating two-day ‘Live Showcase‘ event! All music enthusiasts are welcome to witness the emergence of new local music talents showcasing their unlimited potential!

After the first round of curation, Top 24 songwriters who have advanced will have the opportunity to perform their original songs live on September 14 and 15! They will not only present their works via a live band format and share their creative inspirations with the audience, but they will also receive feedback and suggestions from the judges. Additionally, there will be exciting performances by local singer-songwriters Elton Lee and Yokez!

Organised by Composers & Authors Society of Singapore (COMPASS), Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC), and Ocean Butterflies Music, ‘SG:SW I Write The Songs’ is a nationwide Mandopop songwriting festival, which provides a platform to uncover and cultivate the next generation of original local music talent.
