Featuring maestros who helmed the xinyao era like Chen Jiaming, Roy Lee, Eric Moo, Jimmy Ye, Mu Zi, Lee Wei Song, Lee Si Song and Jiujian, Shadow Moon is a hybrid of upbeat alternative music and nostalgic xinyao. It follows the heartwarming story of two youths in love. Written by Johnson Ong and directed by Trey Ho, the musical rekindles the flavours of youth as our two protagonists navigate the different realities of life.
Based on the Chinese myth of karmic entanglements between Chang É and Feng Meng, this musical performance re-imagines the two enemies as lovers, with their genders reversed after several reincarnations. Starring Bonnie Loo, Sugie Phua, Audrey Luo, Timothy Wan and Andy Yew, be sure not to miss this truly one-of-a-kind performance!
