Organised by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, the Singapore Chinese Music Competition (SCMC) is a biennial platform dedicated to showcasing and advancing Chinese music talent in Singapore. Since its inaugural edition in 2020, the SCMC has established itself as a key event in the local cultural calendar. It builds on a longer legacy of national Chinese music competitions dating back in the 1980s.
