From historical epics and wuxia adventures to contemporary sitcoms and family sagas, these dramas are more than just entertainment. Resonating long after each final episode, they reflect the prevailing sentiments of society and the aspirations of the nation.

Co-presented by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Mediacorp, Singapore TV: From Local to Global traces Singapore Chinese dramas from its beginnings to today’s digital era of streaming and micro-dramas.

Spanning five thematic zones, this exhibition is more than a celebration of memorable dramas – it is a tribute to the ambition, talent and creativity that laid the foundations, and which continue to shape local Chinese dramas in Singapore and beyond.
