The Story Writing Competition on Singapore Chinese Culture is a collaboration between SCCC and SCCL to celebrate Singapore’s 60th year of independence through inviting the public and students (secondary school and beyond) to write and submit original stories that reflect Singapore’s unique Chinese culture. The online repository, Culturepaedia, is to be used as the reference for writing the stories.
The competition is open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents aged 13 and above. Participants may choose to enter as individuals or in teams, with no more than 4 people per team.
Ten winning entries will be published as Chinese supplementary reading materials organised by grade level suitability for secondary school students.
