The 2nd Blue Cross Charitable Institution Shantang Arts and Culture Exhibition 2025 returns with the theme “Illustrating Kindness: A Youth Perspective on Shantang Culture.” Taking place from 12–14 December 2025 at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, Multi-Purpose Hall (L7), the exhibition explores the values of compassion and service rooted in Teochew Shantang (善堂) culture — a charitable tradition spanning over 700 years.
This year’s edition features five curated zones: a heritage artefact display, youth artist showcase, invited contemporary artworks, Teochew cultural workshops, and a community rice art co-creation. Visitors will experience how traditional values such as kindness, filial piety, and harmony are reimagined through diverse art forms including visual arts, music, film, and literature.
Organised by Blue Cross Charitable Institution, co-organised by NAFA, sponsored by The Ngee Ann Kongsi, and supported by SCCC, the exhibition invites all to reconnect with culture through creativity.
