Joining us for Cultural Playground 2026 from 19 to 21 June and REMIX 2026 from 3 to 12 July is a site-responsive installation by local artist ANTZ featuring four giant inflatables from his Urban Monkeys series.
Currently on display at SCCC, The Last Tree Was a Building was commissioned by National Arts Council for Singapore Art Week 2026 and first presented by Art Outreach. The installation hopes to transform public spaces into imagined urban habitats, inviting visitors to pause and reflect on urban transformation, resilience, and humanity’s relationship with shared spaces and the city around us.
