Wu Lien Teh (1879-1960), Goh Lai Hee (1881-1951), and Chan Sze Pong (1884-?) were born and raised in Singapore or Malaya. They were awarded the Queen’s Scholarship to study at Cambridge University in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
