Do you have a great story to tell but find writing a full-length script too daunting? Do you have a good ear for dialogue? Why not start off with a 10-minute radio play instead? Take part in the first edition of GIMME TEN 2021 Radio Playwriting Competition! Stand a chance to be one of the 20 participants who will get to attend playwrighting and radio production workshops (conducted in Mandarin) by award-winning local playwright Chong Tze Chien, veteran theatre practitioner Li Xie as well as experienced playwright and lawyer Wang Liansheng – for free! Participants will learn about the fundamentals and from there, write a 10-minute play in Mandarin with a Singapore focus.

10 of the best scripts will be shortlisted for the final round of the competition and receive mentorship from Chong Tze Chien, Li Xie and Wang Liansheng. Their final scripts will be turned into actual radio plays and aired on 96.3 Hao FM.

3 winners will be chosen by a panel of judges. You can also vote for your favourite script to win the “Audience Choice Award”.
