Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre Presents “Happy Sing-Along” for Seniors to Highlight Our Dialect Culture

SINGAPORE, 18 September 2023 – Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre’s (SCCC) announces Happy Sing-Along, a new programme to highlight our dialect culture designed for seniors to reminisce cherished memories through iconic dialect songs performed by local artistes.  

Held on selected Wednesdays across the months, Happy Sing-Along will kick off its first session on 4 October 2023, at the SCCC Auditorium from 3pm to 5pm. The sessions will be livestreamed on SCCC’s Facebook page and those of performing artistes. Each session will showcase a diverse array of songs that resonate with the seniors.

Hosted by renowned television and radio personalities Marcus Chin, Lee Peifen and Hao Hao, onsite and online attendees can look forward to captivating performances of nostalgic dialect and Mandarin pop songs by local artistes. The sessions will also feature engaging Q&A segments and entertaining skits that delve into various facets of local Chinese culture. 

Tickets are available at $4 with an additional $1 administration fee on ticketmaster.sg and all post offices. Join us for this heartwarming journey down memory lane through the universal language of music.
