Inspired by Goddess of the Moon, better known as Chang’e, this modern interpretation portrays her looking at a city from her home on the moon. In her honour, mooncakes are traditionally served during mid-autumn in celebration of a good harvest.
Muneera Malek is heavily influenced by the variety of icons from pop culture and uses a bold colour palette in most of her work.
