Co-organised by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC), Composers & Authors Society of Singapore, and Ocean Butterflies Music, SG:SW I Write The Songs is an annual nationwide Mandopop songwriting competition which provides a platform to uncover and cultivate the next generation of local music talents.
After four months of rigorous screening and mentorship, the Top 10 finalists of this year’s SG:SW I Write The Songs have emerged and will be taking the stage of SCCC’s Far East Organisation Auditorium, for the Finale Concert.
The judging panel consists of Singapore Cultural Medallion Award recipient Dr Liang Wern Fook, music producer Zennon Goh, Taiwanese lyricist Louise Lou, Taiwanese composer Meilinbear and Mediacorp personality Zhong Kunhua, will pick the winners for the following awards: Best Song; Lyrics (Merit); Melody (Merit); Best Vocal Performance; Best Performing Band and Popularity (Public Voting).
There will also be guest performances by local singer-songwriter and SG:SW 2025 Ambassador Elton Lee, and Mandopop duo The Freshman.
