Description:

  • Assist to plan, implement and manage SCCC’s signature festivals and programmes;
  • Assist to plan timeline and milestones, and monitor progress to meet deadlines;
  • Assist to plan and allocate project budget and monitor expenditure to ensure adequate provision and expenditure is within budget;
  • Communicate with vendors, arts and cultural groups for the respective programmes;
  • Coordinate with SCCC Corporate Communications team with regards to publicity and marketing plans;
  • Coordinate with SCCC Estates team with regards to venue usage and production/ event requirement;
  • Manage other programme-related tasks such as administrative work including minutes taking, calling of tender, procuring goods or services and logistical arrangement etc.;
  • Other duties as assigned by Director, Programmes.

 

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Arts Management, Humanities, or Communications
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the arts or cultural sector, or events management
  • Experience in digital content will be an advantage
  • Bilingual with strong proficiency in Mandarin preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
  • Strong passion and interest in Chinese arts, culture and heritage;
  • Good time and project management skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Able to work independently and also a good team player.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required.

Description:

  • Attend to tenants’ venue booking telephone and email enquiries.
  • Facilitate tenants’ venue hire/ training booking processes by meeting and discussing their event requirements, and to conduct venue walks.
  • Facilitate the venue partnership process by meeting partners to discuss their event requirements and to conduct venue walks.
  • Provide administrative support for all venue partnership requests.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure that billing and payments are collected and processed in a timely manner.
  • Provide monthly tracking report of tenants’ and partners’ activities.
  • Liaise with tenants/ partners on any outstanding payments and deposits.
  • Maintain the department’s filing system.
  • Maintain close communications with Estates and Programmes colleagues to deconflict bookings and to ensure excellent customer service to tenants and partners.
  • Prepare occupancy and revenue reports for department meetings.
  • Prepare agenda and notes of meeting for department meetings.
  • Any additional duties as assigned by Management.

 

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Arts Management, Business Administration, Events Management, and/or Estates Management.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience with working knowledge preferably in the following fields: Arts Facilities Management, Tenancy Management, Customer Service and/or Production Management.
  • Good time and project management skills.
  • Able to work independently and a good team player.
  • Bilingual with proficiency in Mandarin preferred to liaise with the Mandarin-speaking public.
  • Working knowledge of Event Business Management Software (EBMS) is preferred.
  • Strong interest and passion in Chinese arts and culture.  Outgoing personality with a can-do spirit.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required.
