Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support efforts to develop SCCC as a key institution in the research of the cultural heritage of the Chinese community in Singapore.
• Conduct research, write, edit and present on topics related to history and identity of the Chinese community in Singapore
• Drive collaborative research projects with partners in the academia, civic organisations and public institutions.
• Commission and supervisor the production of documentaries, book publications and online content.
• Implement public outreach programmes by staging exhibitions, talks and community events

Requirements:

• Good experience in stakeholders’ engagement and content development.
• Good experience in research projects and content development.
• Strong writing and speaking skills in English and Chinese.
• Able to engage effectively with stakeholders including members of the academia, the arts and culture sector as well as the community leaders,
• Able to lead and implement research projects and content creation independently.
• Good understanding of the local arts and heritage sector and Chinese community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist to plan, implement and manage SCCC’s signature festivals and programmes.
• Assist to plan timelines and milestones and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Assist to plan and allocate project budget and monitor expenditure to ensure adequate provision and expenditure is within budget.
• Communicate with vendors, arts and cultural groups for the respective programmes.
• Coordinate with Corporate Communications team with regards to publicity and marketing plans.
• Coordinate with Estates Team with regards to venue usage and production/ event requirement.
• Manage other programme-related tasks such as administrative work including minutes taking, calling of tender, procuring goods or services and logistical arrangement etc.
• Other duties as assigned by Director, Programmes.

Requirements:

• Degree in arts management, humanities, or communications.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the arts or cultural sector, or events management. Experience in digital content will be an advantage.
• Bilingual with strong proficiency in Mandarin preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Strong passion and interest in Chinese arts, culture and heritage.
• Good time and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and a good team player.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and setup equipment (audio-visual/furniture) for events.
• Manage and operate audio, visual and lighting system in the performing and events venues.
• Provide technical advice and operational support for both internal/external events.
• Operate personnel lift to rig lightings or speakers when required.
• Ensure all equipment are checked regularly.
• Evaluate risk assessment factors to ensure compliance with safety procedures before setting up equipment.
• Coordinate the logistics with internal/external stakeholders.
• Perform administration duties and coordination with event bookings.
• Manage a team of technicians (full time/part time).

Requirements:

• Diploma in Audio Visual Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Preferably with experience in handling/programming digital lighting console/ digital sound mixing console and audio-visual automation controls such as Extron and Crestron.
• WSQ training and certificates in operating scissor lift/vertical lift and work-at-height.
• Knowledge in risk assessment and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autocad.
• Team player, willing to have an open mindset and take up the challenge.
• Required to work late evenings, on weekends and public holidays to support events.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
