Seals, which typically carry a person’s name, are used to sign off on documents, contracts and art works. Besides name seals, there is a wider world of “leisure seals”. These seals are creative outlets and mainly contain images or writings that convey one’s thoughts and personality. Through these stone seals, what else could be discovered in these scenes of Singapore?
In this exhibition, local artist Baisimu will be displaying her works featuring landscapes and motifs of Singapore. Drop by to see how she presents contemporary life through a traditional medium.
