Just like colours in the rainbow, love is a multi-faceted expression that can be represented in many ways.
“Love in Many Colours” is about the journey of expressing love through Chinese festivals, pop culture and its traditional customs.
Taking place at the Concourse (Level 1) and the Rooftop Garden of the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, these exciting insta-worthy installations allow visitors to explore love through two main exhibitions; Love in the Digital Age (Concourse) and Love in Blooms (Rooftop Garden).
Love in the Digital Age
This space features a doodling installation inspired by Chinese homophonic numerology used in Chinese pop culture. At the same time, it is also home to a digital retail section featuring local brands with a selection of products, under the categories of Love of Fashion and Self.
Love in Blooms
Continuing the journey up to Rooftop Garden, this open-air space showcases photo-opportunity exhibits telling stories of how love in traditional festivals and folklore, such as Chinese Valentine’s Day and Double Seventh Festival; has inspired love in modern times.
