1) TGIF Music Station: SCCC X YES 933 (Father’s Day) – Livestream on Facebook & TikTok, 18 June 8pm

Featuring Singapore’s favourite performing artists and rising stars, join us for good local music performances at TGIF Music Station every first and third Fridays of the month! This week’s TGIF Music Station: SCCC x YES 933 is dedicated to the greatest man in the world, our father. It will be a special edition where we will listen to some of our father’s favorite tracks and feel the emotions he felt while bringing us up. Together with Alfred Sim, Calvert Tay, Jack Neo, and Joanne T., let’s show appreciation for all the father figures in our life.  Come celebrate this Father’s Day with us via Facebook/TikTok livestream. 2) Songs of the Dragon Kiln – YouTube, 19 June 12pm

Songs of the Dragon Kiln is back by popular demand! This multidisciplinary experience premiered in 2017 to critical acclaim, with its seamless blend of documentary film and pottery with Chinese chamber music.

Ding Yi reprises this unique concert, shining a spotlight on one of Singapore’s fast-fading heritage – the Dragon Kiln. Part-archival and part-commentary on vanishing trades, this showcase is all heart and homage to a beloved tradition of Chinese culture.

Songs of Dragon Kiln premiered in 2017 in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.

3) Sing•浪 2021 – Live on meWATCH, 19 June 8pm

Showcasing Singapore’s hits and superstars in the Chinese music world, the 4th edition focuses on our homegrown maestros, who have orchestrated stunning music accompaniments in chart-toppers and made our music masters sought-after by A-listers all over Asia.

Classic hit songs arranged by our maestros, Martin Tang, Kenn C, Goh Kheng Long, and Terence Teo, would be performed by the likes of Kit Chan, Joanna Dong, Olivia Ong, Yung Raja, Gina Tan and Benjamin Kheng. Don’t miss this chance to catch the best and brightest from our local music industry!

 

4) Jazz It Up! A Jazzy Celebration of Chinese Songs 2021 – Livestream on Facebook, 20 June 8pm

Featuring local singers Joanna Dong, Tay Kewei, Marcus Lee, together with Jeremy Monteiro and Jazz Association Symphony Orchestra, this is Jazz It Up!’s second successive concert which promises to deliver the same, if not better, melodic and charming musical experience from the previous year.
