1948年莲山双林寺邀请年届62岁的高参和尚从印尼日惹镇元宮来新担任该寺主持。高参在新加坡12年间除了重修双林寺和举办佛教传入新加坡以来的第一场三坛大戒外，还将少林功夫在本地开枝散叶。他的弟子在1954年后成为本地武术界重要力量。本次讲座以高参和尚最后的12年为本，讲述战后新加坡一段受埋没的武林往事。
