About SINGAPO人

The Chinese Singaporean identity is complex and always changing. Singapore is a Chinese majority nation-state with a significant proportion of non-Chinese. At the same time, Singapore is in Southeast Asia, a region with many ethnic groups, of which the Chinese form a small part of the overall population.

After interacting with diverse influences over many years, Chinese culture in Singapore has evolved in a way quite unlike other communities around the world. No matter who you are, there is always room to discover (and rediscover) what it means to be a Chinese Singapo人.
To visit and find out more about the exhibition, please click HERE. Admission to the exhibition is free (and it’s fun!).
