2012年创刊的《华汇》杂志由新加坡宗乡会馆联合总会出版，主要对象为本地华人新移民。《华汇》强调本地共通的华人文化认同，同时也积极推广本地国际化且多元文化的生活方式。本讲座将尝试分析该季刊对本地文化遗产及文化认同的再现，并进一步探讨在新加坡社会进行跨文化对话的挑战。
